Leveraging Science to Strengthen the Foundations of Lifelong Learning, Behavior and Health through Innovations in Policy and Practice

This session was an activity of the Community Child Health Working Group. The presentation provided an overview of core concepts of the science of child development. It then presented a model for how this scientific knowledge base can be applied as a framework for guiding program and policy strategy and concluded with an introduction to how the science is driving an innovation agenda for the field of early childhood development.
