In support of the World TB Day 2012 spotlight on Pediatric TB, CORE Group’s Tuberculosis Working Group presented three webinars from world leaders in the fight against pediatric TB.
The second in the series was presented by Dr. Marianne Gale, an Australian medical doctor with background in Public Health. She has been working for the past 5 years with Medecins Sans Frontieres as medical advisor on TB and HIV, mainly focused on children. Dr. Gale focused on the programming and implementation issues associated with pediatric TB, including addressing the linkages that need to occur between the private and public sectors, and hospitals and communities.
