Opportunities to Strengthen Maternal Nutrition Programs within Health Systems – Operational Guidance and Country Perspectives

This webinar highlighted USAID-funded initiatives to strengthen maternal nutrition through health systems from global and local perspectives. Presenters discussed practical guidance for designing, implementing, and strengthening the delivery of maternal nutrition interventions during pregnancy and lactation from USAID’s Maternal and Child Survival Program and USAID’s Advancing Nutrition. Presenters from Kenya, Guatemala and Uganda shared key country learnings (i.e. successes, challenges) and the way forward for strengthening the implementation of maternal nutrition interventions at the country level.
