GHC’s World Health Assembly (WHA) policy “scrum” series originated in early 2015 with the goal of bringing together our community around specific global health priorities being address by the WHA. We use the word “scrum” as it relates to the sport of rugby. In this context, “scrum” refers to a group of players uniting to gain possession of the ball. Similarly, our global health advocates huddle together during our WHA policy scrums to share insights and intelligence with each other as well as prepare key messages and strategies for the upcoming WHA and ultimately organize ourselves so that we can be more effective advocates at WHA and beyond.

Presenters:

Crystal Lander, Director of Advocacy at Living Goods

Ashley Arabasadi, Health Security Policy Advisor at Management Sciences of Health
