Globally, state and non-state actors are observing International Women’s Day on March 8. This is a day to not just celebrate women but to also recognize the historical gender inequities that set women back and innovate ways to bridge these gaps.

Under the theme ‘DigitALL: Innovation and Technology for Gender Equality’, the United Nations Observance of International Women’s Day (IWD) 2023 highlights the need for inclusive and transformative technology and digital education. Aligned with the priority theme of CSW67, the UN observance of IWD is recognizing and celebrating the women and girls who are championing the advancement of transformative technology and digital education and curtailing the impact of the digital gender gap on widening economic and social inequalities.

At CORE Group, we engage a range of stakeholders through strategic activities to improve and expand community health practices for underserved populations, especially women, children, and adolescents, through collaborative action and learning.

To commemorate IWD, we sought to learn how women are influencing impact in underserved communities, to find out how they are contributing to gender equality and how technology is helping them achieve this goal. Please read their stories here below to learn more.
