Social Accountability in Health: Perspectives from Institutional Actors (Webinar)

On Thursday, May 16th, 2019, 9:00-10:30am ET, USAID’s flagship Maternal and Child Survival Program (MCSP), UNICEF, and CORE Group will host a webinar to highlight lessons from past years on the Malawi social accountability implementation experience, and disseminate recent resources in this expanding field. This webinar is intended for program planners and others working in low and middle income countries who are working to incorporate social accountability in their community health strategies.

Webinar Objectives

Disseminate learning from Malawi country experiences with implementing social accountability approaches
Increase understanding of the unique role of donors in promoting social accountability in health and share learning from UNICEF country offices’ social accountability program design experience
Share monitoring and evaluation methods and approaches for social accountability interventions
Highlight relevant resources including a toolkit, case studies, program design guidelines etc., for individuals spearheading efforts in social accountability within their community health strategies
