HIV Prevention and Care for Men and Boys, Family Planning and the Faith Community
The Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars
The Wilson Center’s Maternal Health Initiative will be hosting a two-panel event in collaboration with World Vision U.S., focusing on the role of faith-based organizations in controlling the HIV epidemic through reaching men and boys with HIV testing, and improving maternal and child health through Healthy Timing and Spacing of Pregnancy.
You are invited to two public sessions on the path towards reducing HIV infections among men and boys globally within faith communities and networks and sustaining gains in maternal and child health around the world with healthy timing and spacing of pregnancies. Discussions will also explore the role of the faith community in achieving these global targets.
