In these times of global pandemics, growing inequality and climate breakdown, I believe that we need to shift our work towards justice more than ever. The Justice Based Approach is a lens and framework for humanitarian, development, social change, and environmental justice work that fills the gaps in and improves upon human rights based approaches. It represents a modern critique of how change happens based on five key change theories: radical systems, alternative models, everyday activism, living democracy, and brave accountability.
