Girls Take the Mic: Setting the Agenda for a Post-COVID World

How were adolescent girls around the world supported throughout the COVID-19 pandemic? What interventions were missing? How can civil society organizations and governments better support vulnerable girls moving forward? On International Youth Day, girls from across East Africa will take the lead and answer these and other important questions as we look toward shaping a post-COVID world in this exciting virtual event, hosted by the Coalition for Adolescent Girls and Kakenya’s Dream and moderated by internationally acclaimed advocate for girls’ empowerment and founder of Kakenya’s Dream, Dr. Kakenya Ntaiya.
