Integration of Care for Child Development in Existing Health Services

The Pakistan Early Child Development Scale Up (PEDS) Trial investigated the integration of stimulation, care for development and nutrition in a government community health program in Sindh, Pakistan. The trial has generated evidence on how to reach the most disadvantaged children to promote early learning and equity. Join us for the webinar: Integration of Care for Child Development in Existing Health Services: Experience from the Pakistan Early Child Development Scale Up (PEDS) Trial. Aisha Yousafzai , Ph.D. , co-Principal Investigator will share the findings from the trial and will discuss the opportunities and challenges of integration in existing programs, including adaptation of curriculum, training, supervision, and monitoring.

Dr. Yousafzai is an Assistant Professor in Early Childhood Development and Disability in the Division of Women and Child Health/ Aga Khan University in Karachi, Pakistan.
