Acting on the Call Report

The Acting on the Call report, released in 2014, lays out a roadmap in 24 priority countries to scale up proven, life-saving interventions that can save 15 million children and 600,000 women by 2020. The 2015 Acting on the Call report gives an update on progress and includes additional information on how USAID will reach 38 million women with increased access to care during delivery. Kelly Saldana, Deputy Director of the Office of Health, Infectious Diseases and Nutrition (HIDN) in the Bureau for Global Health at USAID and one of the authors of the Acting on the Call reports, presented on the reports and how they relate to USAID’s work to end preventable child and maternal deaths.
