Nominations Now Open for the New Community Health Champion Award!

This year, CORE Group is introducing the Community Health Champion Award. This prestigious award will be presented to an individual who has demonstrated a  long-lasting and direct impact on improving the health and well-being of their community through their leadership, passion, and strategic vision for a better future. Community Health Champions are those who have shown excellence in one or more of the following areas: research, practice, community engagement and inclusive development. This new award highlights the importance of community health by honoring the commitment, motivation, and dedication exemplified by individuals who sustainably improve the health of under-served populations. The award will be presented at the 2020 Global Health Practitioner Conference on December 8-10, 2020.

Notes on the Award:

  1. The award is open to a person from any country who meets the criteria.
  2. To be nominated for an award, the individual does NOT have to work for a CORE Group member organization.
  3. Any staff member working for a CORE Group member organization, as well as Individual & Student members of CORE Group can submit a nomination.
  4. Voting will be conducted by ballot and limited to CORE Group member organizations only. The winner will be the candidate with the majority of votes received.

Award Winners receive a life-long individual membership to CORE Group and an opportunity to accept the award and speak to our membership during the December 2020 Global Health Practitioner Virtual Conference. Information about past award recipients can be found here.
