How can I review my current listserv subscriptions and preferences? 

1. If you have not already, create a password for your account management here. Type in your email address, and your password will be sent to your email.
2. Go to the listserv homepage: http://lists.coregroup.org/lists/.
3. Sign in with your email and password. The groups that you see are the ones you are currently subscribed to.
4. To change your preferences, click on a specific group.
5. Click on “Subscriber Options” on the left.
6. You can change the type of email you receive and how often under the Reception Mode dropdown. The “digest” options are sent daily.

How can I subscribe to new listservs?

All CORE Group listservs are listed in the chart above. To subscribe, send a blank email to the “subscribe” email address listed in the chart. You can subscribe to as many listservs as you want.

How can I change the email address subscribed?

How can I send an email to a listserv?

It’s as simple as sending an email to the listserv email address! You can find that address in the chart above under the “Send emails to the group” column. Note that you must be subscribed to a listserv to send an email to that group.

Best Practices for Sending Listserv Messages:

1. Use subject lines that are concise and informative.
2. Do not send fundraising messages, self-promotional emails, or job postings.
3. Advocacy messages are welcome, but please avoid partisan political statements.
4. Please check that information and messaging are evidence based before sharing to avoid the spread of misinformation.
5. Be conscious of replying individually vs. replying to all.
6. Limit attachment size to 1 MB, and use links instead when possible.

What kind of information can I send to a listserv?

We encourage you to share:

• Funding opportunities
• Meetings, trainings and other relevant events
• Changes in relevant policies and guidelines
• New tools, reports, and training materials relevant to the community
• Results of operations research and other studies
• News articles relevant to the community
• Inquiries on methods, tools and processes to support community-oriented design and implementation
• Requests for technical advice

How can I unsubscribe from a listserv?

1. Send a blank email with no subject to “[group name] -unsubscribe@lists.coregroup.org.” Be sure to send this email from the email account that is subscribed.
2. You will receive an automated email instructing you to confirm your request.
3. To unsubscribe you MUST reply to that email without changing the subject.
