Call for Concept Notes: SRMNCAH Small Grants

Call for Concept Notes for Issuing Small Grants to Improve Sexual, Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child, and Adolescent Health (SRMNCAH)

CORE Group’s mission is to improve and expand community health practices for underserved populations, especially women, children, and adolescents through collaborative action and learning. We are excited to begin a participatory small grants program to advance sexual, reproductive, maternal, newborn, child, and adolescent health (SRMNCAH) programming, policy, and interventions in Bangladesh, Cambodia, and Nepal.

SRMNCAH services are essential for achieving Universal Health Coverage and the Strategic Development Goal of attaining good health and well-being for people. Although there has been progress in child survival, the COVID-19 pandemic has left children and adolescents with health needs that have gone unmet.

Submission Guidelines

CORE Group will issue small grants with the purpose of engaging with eligible non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and civil society organizations (CSOs), especially those led by women, adolescents, and people living with disabilities, in a collaborative effort to address key barriers for improving SRMNCAH services and outcomes in the three priority countries.

The initial step for receiving a grant is to submit a successful concept note summarizing the key challenge to SRMNCAH that will be addressed, the objective/s of the intervention, a description of the methodology/approach, the geographic location, the time frame, the implementation arrangement, and the monitoring and evaluation plan. CORE Group will provide free technical assistance to NGOs/CSOs receiving grants to strengthen their capacity in various areas including full proposal development, project planning and implementation, monitoring and evaluation, and engaging policy makers and stakeholders in implementation and in scaling up of the grants’ results.

Guidelines for submitting a concept note, evaluation criteria, and instructions for participating in an informational webinar on the small grants project are included here.

Submission Deadline: June 30, 2022

There will be an informational webinar held on June 9, 2022 at 7:00 AM ET / 4:00 PM NPT / 5:00 PM BST / 6:00 PM ICT
