Join the CORE Group Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child and Adolescent Health (RMNCAH) Working Group for a virtual session on strengthening neonatal resuscitation capacity in low-resource settings. Drawing on program experiences from Guinea, Ghana, and Sierra Leone, the session will highlight practical lessons from implementing neonatal resuscitation training and approaches to improving newborn care in challenging context.
The session will feature Prof. Dr. med. Matthias Roth-Kleiner, Founder and President of Souffle2Vie, pediatrician and neonatologist, Professor of Pediatrics and Neonatology at the University of Lausanne, and Head of Neonatology at the Centre Hospitalier Universitaire Vaudois (CHUV). He also serves as President of the Swiss Society of Neonatology. Prof. Roth-Kleiner has contributed to research on neonatal resuscitation training and newborn survival in Guinea, including work published in BMJ Global Health.
