Gauthami Penakalapati
Gauthami Penakalapati is a public health professional experienced in data analysis, M&E, research and project management, and human-centered design research and practice. Her professional interests include: sexual and reproductive health, WASH, menstrual hygiene management (MHM), monitoring technologies and human-centered design for global health. She is passionate about evidence driven and community centered programming focused on creative and sustainable solutions to complex challenges. Gauthami is a PhD candidate at University of California – Berkeley in the Energy and Resources Group. Her research is at the intersection of WASH access, psychosocial health, and gender.
