Action Aid Initiative (AAI)
Action Aid Initiative (AAI) is a nationally registered, non-profit, non-governmental organization in South Sudan, established to address persistent humanitarian, development, and resilience challenges affecting vulnerable populations. Founded by experienced South Sudanese professionals with backgrounds in government, UN agencies, and international NGOs, AAI responds to critical service delivery gaps in hard-to-reach and underserved communities.
AAI adopts an integrated, community-centred and systems-strengthening approach. We recognize that sustainable outcomes depend on empowered communities, responsive services, and behaviourally informed interventions. Our work spans the humanitarian–development–peace nexus and aligns with national priorities including Primary Health Care (PHC), the Boma Health Initiative (BHI), and community resilience programming.
