CARE’s Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights team is seeking a Technical Advisor for Public Health Emergencies who will build CARE’s capacity globally to contribute to CARE’s response in Public Health Emergencies in the context of CARE’s organization-wide commitment to meeting the needs of women and girls as a fundamental element of CARE’s humanitarian response. We are looking for someone flexible, creative and passionate about collaboration among global colleagues and communities to improve the health of women and girls affected by crisis through high-quality multi-sectoral response across the humanitarian-to-development spectrum. The person in this role will support CARE globally to integrate Public Health emergency activities (community engagement for risk communication, community-based surveillance, digital data management in humanitarian settings) before, during, and after an emergency. This position will be available up to 50% for immediate deployment to emergencies.

QUALIFICATIONS
• Master's degree in public health or related discipline, 5-10 years of experience, and 3+ years in emergencies including deployment (chronic, conflict or transitional settings), excellent communication skills in English (spoken, written) required • Fluency in French and Arabic a plus
