Talent Acquisition Specialist
The Talent Acquisition Specialist will play a pivotal role in making an impact in the work Vitamin Angels does around the world by attracting and acquiring talent across various roles, while prioritizing equity, representation, and belonging. They will have the responsibility for managing all aspects of the recruitment lifecycle, from talent exploration, evaluation, and interviewing to managing recruitment programs and processes and enhancing our recruitment marketing and employment branding. Additionally, they will spearhead the development and execution of strategic recruiting programs, including candidate experience enhancements, internships and graduate development programs, and diversity and inclusion, to foster a pipeline for future talent.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 1-3 years’ experience in Talent Acquisition or in a similar role, with a track record of successfully hiring diverse talent.
- Profound understanding of recruitment techniques, tools, and best practices.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills with a focus on cultural sensitivity.
- Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to align recruiting efforts with organizational goals.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage inclusive recruitment programs.
- Analytical acumen to derive insights from data and guide data-informed decisions.
- Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on industry trends.
- Ability to manage stress, including but not limited to sensitive employee issues, stress resulting from daily activities.Ability to remain seated for extended periods of time, including but not limited to general job assignments performed at a desk.
- PHR and/or SHRM certification.
- Experience working in the non-profit/NGO sector.
- Experience working for organizations focused on public health, international development, or a similar field.
