The Health Systems Strengthening & Sustainability Senior Advisor should be passionate about expanding, enduring access to sexual and reproductive health and rights for all. They will be committed and able to provide overall strategic direction, technical advice, and thought leadership to Pathfinder’s work to build stronger, more responsive, equitable, resilient, and sustainable health systems around the world in support of universal health coverage for all. They will be a thought leader and advisers with a demonstrated track record in analyzing system design, generating system innovations and evidence and leading an organization’s health system strengthening portfolio, ideally in the SRHR sector with experience of community-health system approaches. They will have extensive experience of institutional dialogue that results in strengthened and sustained national health systems. They will have experience in cultivating and maintaining strategic partnerships with a broad base of allies and stakeholders including technical bodies and donors.

At least 12 years experience as senior-level professional developing, managing, implementing, and evaluating health systems strengthening programs at scale, ideally in the area of service delivery and community-health systems improvement, with a minimum of (8) years experience in working in multiple sub-Saharan Africa countries. A Master’s degree in Public Health or a related field. Familiarity with multilateral and bilateral donors including USAID preferred.
