The USAID-funded Moving Integrated, Quality Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health and Family Planning and Reproductive Health Services to Scale (MOMENTUM), Round 1, is focused on MNCH/FP/RH service delivery in fragile settings. This focus is an integral element of USAID’s overall Transformation agenda to support host country partners on their journey to self-reliance. The program aims to accelerate reductions in maternal, newborn, and child mortality and morbidity in high-burden, USAID-supported countries by increasing the capacity of host country institutions and local organizations to introduce, deliver, scale up, and sustain the use of evidence-based, quality maternal, newborn, and child health, voluntary family planning and reproductive health services. World Vision seeks to recruit highly qualified professionals for the role of Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Director on this important program. Please note this position is contingent upon securing donor funding.
MEL Director will work collaboratively with project staff to ensure quality design, monitoring, evaluation, research and learning practices through technical assistance, training and program implementation. Key aspects of the role include:
a.) provide managerial and technical oversight to the national-level MEL Managers to ensure data quality and alignment of the project MEL plan with the respective national systems
a.) Lead the development of appropriate DME standards for the project.
b.) Oversee and contribute to the strengthening of project staff in all aspects of DME.
c.) Oversee and contribute to the strengthening of the quality of grant performance, meeting or exceeding donor requirements and/or expectations.
