JOB DESCRIPTION

The HIV Testing Services Intern (Intern) position will be placed in the Adult Clinical Branch, Prevention, Care, and Treatment Division, Office of HIV/AIDS (OHA/PCT/ACB) within the Bureau for Global Health and will support USAID’s further development and implementation of HIV testing service. The Intern will primarily provide research assistance and may also carry out other Global Health Bureau-wide duties and collaborative research with other analysts in the Bureau. QUALIFICATIONS
  • Currently enrolled or recently completed (within the past 12 months) Master’s or other post-bachelor’s degree candidate.
  • Experience with HIV testing programs, experience either studying or implementing HIV programs.
  • Ability to analyze data from different sources/databases utilizing multiple data analytic platforms.
  • Ability to create and present data visuals.
  • Strong interpersonal, facilitation and team building skills, and ability to work cross-culturally with diverse teams.
  • Demonstrated innovative thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent analytical, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to participate in a 1-2-week field experience.
  • US citizenship or US permanent residency required.
