JOB DESCRIPTION

The DCOP is to support the Chief of Party in providing leadership in the management and implementation of a USAID Title II Food for Peace funded Development Food Security Activity (DFSA). This position will be responsible to support the management and oversight of the project, this includes leading the preparation of sector work plans, monitoring project progress, timely delivery of all reporting and deliverables, ensure performance quality, and compliance with USAID requirements, rules and regulations and FH internal requirements.

Responsibilities
Key Result #1 – Program Leadership.
Key Result #2 – Management and Administration.
Key Result #3 – Representation and Coordination.
Key Result #4 – Human Resource Management.

QUALIFICATIONS
Master’s degree in a related rural development or Management field; 10 years of relevant work experience out of which four five years on managerial and senior leadership position; at least five years’ experience working as a Sr. Operations Director or in another senior position on USAID funded programs; 5 years of experience on USAID Title II food assistance programs, preferably in Africa as a Title II programs manager or similar; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
