Universal Health Coverage (UHC) grounded in equity, quality and financial protection is critical for all people but in particular for vulnerable groups such as newborns, adolescents and women of reproductive age. Countries are making valiant commitments to UHC and primary health care, but gaps persist.

This is unacceptable if we are to make good on our promise of equity-driven UHC. However, there is a solution: Supported, properly trained and digitally empowered community health workers can support communities to thrive and ensure that all women and adolescents receive the quality, essential health care and services they deserve.

This panel discussion will focus on how countries, implementing partners, the private sector, multilateral organizations and civil society can, and should, collaborate to fulfill the commitment of quality primary health care that meets the needs of women and adolescents via community health workers to fulfill the promise of health for all.
